Steps to build a successful internship program

1. Creating a well-defined job description (Loretto, Penny, 2019)

Employers must make sure to clearly define the roles and responsibilities of interns for them to be successful especially because they come with relatively low or no experience. Interns who have clear roles and responsibilities know what is expected of them and are more productive. Knowing their positions will also encourage and urge them to complete their respective responsibilities.

  5. Interns are important to organization and departments in many ways. When calculate head counts interns not get calculate, so depending could have intern and get shared some work without increase the cost of department. Also interns are joining sometimes yo get points for their degrees so they always need good recognition from the organisation, so most if them work in proper way to gain that and that will benefitted organization. In the same time organization has responsibility to develop the interns with proper plan as some interns will join with company right after unturnship complete. So it is company responsibility to develop then even they stay with company or not.
